CALLING ALL DESCENDANTS
At Founding Fathers Institute, we are dedicated to genealogical research, cultural enrichment, and historical preservation for future generations of Americans. The Founding Fathers Institute is a nationwide organization founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in advance of the upcoming United States Semiquincentennial, or the 250th Anniversary of the 1776 United States Declaration of Independence.

Current Projects
We seek to research, preserve, and celebrate our ancestors.
Please help us find all of the deceased and living descendants of the Founding Fathers, all of whom were crucial to the influence and formation of our current government.

Descendants of the Signers and Framers of the United States Constitution
There is no individual or group of Founding Fathers that are more important than the delegates who attended the Constitutional Convention, resulting in the ratification of the Constitution of the United States of America. The risks and sacrifices these men (and their direct and collateral family members) potentially faced outweighed their determination to frame our current government. As such, we want to celebrate their legacy and contributions to American history.
Ongoing Projects
Rittenhouse Family Association
In addition to building out the patriotic family trees of our Founding Fathers, the Institute has started a "first of its kind" family association with the goal of publishing a descendants directory and hosting an annual family reunion to support the historic homestead of the Philadelphia Rittenhouse Family.

Future Projects
The Institute plans to expand our work to researching and building out the family trees for the following historical positions of significant influence: First and Second Continental Congresses, Declaration of Independence, Confederation Congress, Articles of Confederation, Presidents of the United States, and Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States.
The Institute also plans to expand our work for other notable patriotic families throughout American history.
