Executive Director 

Mr. Christopher B. Alexander is the current Executive Director.

 

Christopher has been tasked with the responsibility of researching and building out the comprehensive patriotic family trees for the Descendants of the Signers and Framers of the United States Constitution. Christopher plans to publish the findings with help from other descendants with the goal of creating a vibrant lineage society.

The Institute will host their first annual meeting of the descendants of our Founding Fathers during the America250 celebrations scheduled for September 2026 in Old City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Bio

Christopher is an attorney by day and genealogist by night.

 

Christopher is a practicing attorney whose work consists of litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Prior to the law, Christopher worked in managerial consulting with several family-owed manufacturing companies. Christopher is a published author and actively involved in the legal community. Christopher is also an active member of the Greater Philadelphia Area with membership in several clubs, societies, and associations, including but not limited to the Union League of Philadelphia, The Pennsylvania Society, Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania, Historical Society of Pennsylvania, and many more...

Of note, Christopher's seventh great uncle was Thomas Fitzsimons, one of two Irish Catholic Signers of the United States Constitution. Mr. Fitzsimons was active in politics, commerce, and the revolutionary war. Mr. Fitzsimons was a partner in George Meade & Co., founder and director of the Bank of North America, director of the Delaware Insurance Company, president of the Insurance Company of North America, president of the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and trustee of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Fitzsimons was also a founding member of the Friendly Sons (and Daughters) of Saint Patrick.
